Comments : In Sander's List of Orchid Hybrids. 3 Year Addendum (2002-2004) is written: "Some plants under this name may be Phrag. richteri q.v. or similar natural hybrids."
In Sander's List of Orchid Hybrids. 3 Year Addendum (2011-2013) one can read: "While the name ecuadorense is a synonym of pearcei, there is some doubt as to the identity of the plants used in hybridising."
